Nice hotel, Casino for entertainment, Starbucks, surprisingly good food at the restaurants in the casino, M&T center right next door, lots of parking which is great for larger vehicles. Only drawback, hotel room walls are paper thin, I could hear every conversation in every nearby room. Bring earplugs to get some sleep. Otherwise, great place to stay.
The desk receptionist was welcoming and was able to accommodate our requests and answer questions. The fitness room has adequate equipment and a breath taking view of the Mohawk river. The casino was clean, with reasonable priced drinks and amazing cheesecake at the chop house.
Nice place. Clean and well kept. Only issue is the toilet paper holder wouldn't stay shut. So when you pulled the necessary amount of tp off, it would pop open and the roll would land on the floor. Not the hotels fault per say, more of a poor to holder design. Either way 5 stars.
I very much enjoyed staying here. The outdoor area is the main selling point for me. A spacious riverside patio with a promenade along the river. The room was also nice and had a great view. The only critique I could think of is the placement of beds in relation to the beds in adjacent rooms, as I found myself trying to fall asleep while someone in the adjacent room was getting absolutely railed time and time again. Overall would recommend and would love to return during summer.
We had our room block at The Landing Hotel for our wedding, and it was absolutely wonderful. The staff went above and beyond to make our guests feel welcome and comfortable, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish! The rooms were clean, modern, and beautifully appointed, with all the amenities our guests could need. The hotel’s location was perfect for our wedding weekend, making it easy for everyone to get to the venue and enjoy the area! We are so grateful to the team at The Landing Hotel for making our wedding weekend stress-free and enjoyable for both us and our guests. Our room was nice. Bed was comfortable. All the rooms only have showers in the bathroom with a half wall which allows water to spray everywhere. No coffee maker or microwave in the room. Ice machine was on the first floor only. Nice, but could be better.
Averil was so friendly and helpful checking us in. Gave us great recommendations for dinner. Live music in the lobby was so nice. They also had a great band that night in the casino called The Hey Nows who were an absolute blast and made the whole hotel stay totally worth it.
My wife and I stayed at The Landing Hotel this past weekend for a family members wedding, We were incredibly shocked by how modern the facilities of the casino and hotel were. The hotel is very clean and the atmosphere is unmatched. Sam at the front desk truly has a one of a kind soul with a lot of potential in the hospitality field. He was very professional and very pleasing to be around as for the remainder of the hotel staff. This is a perfect place to stay for a nice getaway!!!!!
